Musical Chairs
There's always one fewer chair than there are players. When the music stops, everyone scrambles for a seat. One person is always left standing — and out. A competitive classic that gets more tense as the chairs disappear.
How to Play
- 1
Set up chairs in a circle (or two rows back-to-back), with one fewer chair than the number of players.
- 2
Players walk or dance around the chairs while music plays.
- 3
When the music stops, everyone races to sit down. The player left standing is eliminated.
- 4
Remove one chair, then restart the music.
- 5
Continue until only two players and one chair remain. Whoever sits wins.
- 6
Tip: the person controlling the music should face away from the chairs to be unpredictable.
