Telephone
A whispered message passes from ear to ear around the circle. What comes out at the end almost never resembles what went in. Simple, hilarious, and somehow still surprising every time.
How to Play
- 1
Players sit or stand in a line or circle.
- 2
The first player whispers a phrase or sentence into the ear of the person next to them — once only, no repeats.
- 3
Each player passes along what they heard to the next person, whispering just once.
- 4
The last player says the phrase out loud.
- 5
The first player reveals the original phrase. Compare the two.
- 6
Play multiple rounds, rotating who starts. Longer, more complex phrases make funnier results.
