Drink While You Think
Name a celebrity, and the next player names one whose first name starts with the last letter of your celebrity's surname — all while their drink is in their hand. Stop thinking and start sipping. Simple, keeps the energy up, and trips people up more than you'd expect.
How to Play
- 1
Sit in a circle. The first player names any well-known person or character (e.g. 'Emma Watson').
- 2
The next player must name someone whose first name begins with the last letter of the previous surname — so 'N' from 'Watson' could lead to 'Napoleon Bonaparte'.
- 3
The key rule: from the moment the previous person finishes speaking, you must have your drink raised to your lips and sip while you're thinking.
- 4
Put your drink down only when you say your answer.
- 5
If you say a name where both the first and last name start with the same letter (e.g. 'Marilyn Monroe'), the direction of play reverses.
- 6
Anyone who can't think of a name quickly enough drinks their full cup and is eliminated, or simply has to skip. Play until one person is left.
