How to Play

1. 1

   One player (the Reader) opens a dictionary or word list to a random page and finds a word the group genuinely doesn't know. They announce it aloud.

2. 2

   Everyone except the Reader writes a convincing fake definition on a slip of paper. The Reader writes the actual definition.

3. 3

   All slips are collected and shuffled. The Reader reads every definition aloud (including the real one) in a neutral tone.

4. 4

   Players vote on which definition they think is real. No voting for your own.

5. 5

   Scoring: 1 point for correctly guessing the real definition. 1 point for each vote your fake definition received. If nobody guesses the real definition, the Reader scores 2 points.

6. 6

   The Reader role passes to the next player. First to an agreed score (e.g. 10 points) wins.
