Spoons
Card-passing chaos meets a frantic grab for spoons. Everyone's trying to collect four of a kind — the second someone does and grabs a spoon, it's a free-for-all scramble. One person always goes without. Fast, loud, and the table usually gets upended at least once.
How to Play
- 1
Place spoons in the centre of the table — one fewer than the number of players. Deal four cards to each player.
- 2
The dealer picks up one card from the remaining deck, keeps it or passes it, and discards to the player on their left. Cards travel around the table continuously and quickly.
- 3
The goal is to collect four cards of the same value (e.g. four 7s). Keep it fast — the rhythm should be almost constant.
- 4
The moment any player has four of a kind, they quietly reach for a spoon. They do not have to announce it.
- 5
As soon as anyone touches a spoon, every other player may grab one — even if they don't have four of a kind.
- 6
The player left without a spoon loses the round and is out. Remove one spoon and play the next round.
- 7
Last player remaining wins.
