Mafia

A social deduction game where the innocent townspeople must identify hidden Mafia members before they're all eliminated. Requires bluffing, logic, and a good poker face. The most intense conversations happen with zero props.

How to Play

  1. 1

Assign roles secretly using slips of paper: 2–3 Mafia, 1 Doctor, 1 Detective, and the rest are Townspeople. Adjust numbers for group size.

  2. 2

A Narrator runs the game. Everyone closes their eyes ('Night falls').

  3. 3

Mafia opens eyes and silently agrees on one person to eliminate.

  4. 4

Doctor opens eyes and points to one person to protect.

  5. 5

Detective opens eyes and points to one person — the Narrator nods Yes or No about their Mafia status.

  6. 6

Everyone opens eyes ('Day breaks'). The Narrator announces who was eliminated (unless the Doctor saved them).

  7. 7

The group debates and votes to eliminate a suspected Mafia member.

  8. 8

Repeat night/day cycles until either all Mafia are eliminated (Town wins) or Mafia equals or outnumbers Town (Mafia wins).
