Simon Says
Do exactly what Simon says — but only when he says 'Simon says' first. A moment's inattention or a fast-talking Simon sends players out. Sounds easy; rarely is.
How to Play
- 1
One player is chosen as Simon and stands facing the rest of the group.
- 2
Simon calls out commands, e.g. 'Simon says touch your nose' or 'Simon says hop on one foot.'
- 3
Players must only follow commands that begin with 'Simon says.' If Simon gives a command without saying 'Simon says' first, players must not follow it.
- 4
Any player who follows a command without the 'Simon says' prefix is eliminated and sits down.
- 5
Simon tries to catch players out by going fast, mixing up the rhythm, or doing the action themselves as a trick.
- 6
The last player remaining becomes Simon in the next round.
