Two Truths and a Lie
Everyone takes turns sharing three statements about themselves — two real, one invented. The rest of the group tries to sniff out the fake. Surprisingly hard to pull off with people you think you know well.
How to Play
- 1
Everyone sits in a circle or around a table.
- 2
One player thinks of two true facts about themselves and one believable lie — but keeps which is which secret.
- 3
They state all three out loud in any order.
- 4
The rest of the group discusses and then votes on which statement they think is the lie.
- 5
The player reveals the answer. Anyone who guessed wrong is out (elimination variant) or loses a point.
- 6
Rotate clockwise until everyone has had a turn.
